Another view of the "capital" of Fiji - no, it is the association for accidents.

View from Bürkliplatz to the ferris whee.

Panta Rhei - the ship that was only driving for a day. It is too fat, making too big waves. Now it is berthed in near Bürkliplatz. A sign says "Ich bin auch ein Restaurant (I am also a restaurant)"

A beautiful building

Surfing in the Limmat? Nothing is impossible!

Sunday the 8th July 2007

We did make our way to the City again today despite the rain. Der Fosch and Bulaman went for a brief bout of fishing at the Stockerstrasse bridge by the quay. We were later joined by Ivan and Igor and a walk to Büickliplätz. It was bonding for a while and then they went back home. The Bula family then stopped by at a rock concert. That was the highlight of the day as that got Bulaman and I rocking to the sounds. It's one of our favourite sounds, so nothing was gonna stop us from swinging to the groove.

Roger Federer retains his Wimbeldon tennis title for the fifth consecutive year equalling Swedish, Bjorn Borg´s record.

Saturday the 7th July 2007

A walk through the Zürich Fäscht Zone with some impulsive purchasing along the way and an adrenalin-pumping ride on a mini rollercoaster. Der Frosch was the only one who won a red & white soft-toy in one of the game stalls. It was a sunny day with numerous activities and entertainment throughout the day culminating with spectacular fireworks and of course dancing and partying throughout the night for revellers and nocturnal beings.

Sun is out in full force. Don´t forget that sun-screen, hat and sun-glasses. Partly projected to my Caucasian family members and friends. Never underestimate those powerful solar rays. That doesn´t mean that someone of my skin-colour(light-brown) can walk around semi-naked in full glare of the sun and not be susceptible. To say that, skin cancer (because of sun-exposure) only happens to white-skinned folks is baloney and a myth. Anyone can get it.. So to everyone….`TAKE CARE´.! Prevention is better than cure.

Another sunny and hot day. Bedroom windows opened all night to catch the tiniest of breezes for a toss-and-turn-free slumber. Best way if you want to cut down on gas- emissions without turning to fans and air-conditioning. Just a minute way of contributing to the cutting down of global warming.
